  • Mumbai not just comprises of an expansive network of local bus transport considered as the best method of travel yet in addition a vast armada of buses interfacing other significant urban communities. Buses are less expensive when contrasted with other modes of transport, where Kolhapur is effectively reachable from Mumbai all by taking a bus.
A trip from Mumbai to Kolhapur is best experienced in a bus. I generally prefer buses while venturing out starting with one city then onto the next. I booked online tickets from www.redbus.in/bus-tickets/mumbai-to-kolhapur-bypass.aspx and decided on Anand Travels AC Sleeper transport. I boarded the transport from Borivali at 7:30pm and reached Kolhapur on the following day at 5am. The travel took almost 9 hours, yet the journey experience was agreeable and hassle-free. On the off chance, that you do not wish to miss a solitary snapshot of this street trip, at that point taking the seat by the window will be the correct decision, as you will get a hypnotizing perspective of the spots as you pass by!
The Flea markets in Mumbai are simply awesome. How can I not mention anything about the few that I visited. I was told by my friends that I must not miss the Chor Bazaar.. and I was wondering what it could be like! Antiques, furniture, treasures name it and you could see it. As I just strolled across this market, I immediately realised that a day is not going to be enough to explore this wonderful place and I was sure that I could lay my hands on some gems before I go back home. The other flea market that I was sure to visit was Crawford Market as I had heard a lot about this place and I finally did make it here.
This place was simply awesome. I could see small vendors in a narrow lane but the place was full of anything and everything. Right from electrical fittings, to household articles to decorative items. Avoid going here during the weekends and during festivals as this is extremely crowded and you will even find it difficult to move ahead. On the other side of the city one must not miss out on the Esselworld and WaterKingdom, if you are travelling with kids. Ensure that you have one full day to spend in this location.
I was travelling from the ‘City of Dreams’ to a city where I can explore a horde of attractions it was a quick outing plan just for a change of atmosphere. Fascinating history, clamouring shopping paths and neighbourhood liberalities are a portion of the things that draw in travellers to Kolhapur. Disregarding the way that, there are various methods for reaching Kolhapur from Mumbai, a bus ride will be the most captivating one as you will go through great towns, old structures and lush green fields.
My 3 days stay in Kolhapur comprised of an agenda of spots to visit like Mahalaxmi sanctuary, Town Hall Museum, Old Palace, Rankala Lake and some more. My whole idea was to contribute vitality with my friends and take some incredible rest!
